Cradle with cot

Choosing cradles and cots

A firm, flat mattress that fits the frame with no gap, slats close enough that a fist cannot pass through, a lock that stops any rocking for sleep, and nothing loose inside the sleep space. Cradle-with-cot combinations last from birth to about three years; measure the space beside your bed before you choose. Read our guide: Cradle, Cot or Jhula: Choosing Your Baby's First Bed.
